We are recruiting a Teaching Assistant to work within our Primary School, under the direction of the class teacher. Our Teaching Assistants’ core purpose is to support the learning, development and wellbeing of children and to help create a positive, inclusive and effective learning environment.
Duties will also include playground supervision and supporting classroom organisation and resources.
Teamwork, positivity and a ‘can-do’ approach are integral to this position. Also fundamental to the role are professionalism and the highest levels of confidentiality.
The position available is within the Infant School, however, our talented Teaching Assistants may move between classes and year groups when we review our staffing annually. A willingness and ability to support children from Nursery to Year 6 is therefore required.

The ability to speak Arabic or Mandarin is highly desirable and would be particularly valuable in supporting effective communication with children and families within our diverse school community.

Hours: 07:30-14:45, Sunday-Thursday
Contract Type: Local hire, term time only (including staff induction week and training days throughout the year).
