We are seeking to appoint an outstanding, passionate and motivated Assistant Swim Coach to support the delivery and development of the SPARTA Swimming programme.

The successful applicant will have knowledge and experience of the competitive swimming environment and will work closely with the SPARTA Swimming Coaches to deliver high-quality swimming provision, including SPARTA Learn to Swim and Swim Squad programmes.

As the swimming programme develops, there may also be opportunities to support the introduction and delivery of adult swimming classes.

The successful candidate will be enthusiastic about swimming, committed to developing swimmers of different ages and abilities, and able to create a positive, motivating and inclusive environment in which participants can develop their skills, confidence and performance.

Start Date: As soon as possible

Location: Saar and Al Raffa Campus

Hours: Hours to be discussed at interview

Contract Type: Local hire, non term-time only position. Vacation will be to suit workload with a generous leave allowance.  

THE RIGHT CANDIDATE WILL HAVE: 

Previous Swim Coach experience.

Level 2 ASA or equivalent coaching qualification

Excellent English - both spoken and written.

A high level of communication skills and the ability to relate positively to adults and children.

A can-do attitude.

A commitment to the happiness, well-being, self-esteem and progress of everyone at the school.

In order to satisfy Ministry of Education requirements we will need a copy of your educational certificates - e.g. School Leavers Certificate: GCSE Certificate(s); A-level Certificate(s); Degree Certificate, with your School Leavers Certificate being the minimum that we can accept
